YUTU Hires Former President of Southcn.com as a Senior Researcher at YUTU Blockchain Research Institute


YUTU announced On October 15 that Mr. Ouyang Nongyue, former president of Southcn.com, will officially serve as a senior researcher at YUTU Blockchain Research Institute. Mr. Ouyang will lead the research team to explore and promote the application of blockchain technology. Mr. Ouyang suggests that YUTU boasts a large user base in the auto retail and connected car market with a very innovative business model. He also believes in the broad prospect of the blockchain technology especially in the connected car field.

Born in Xiangtan, Hunan Province, Mr. Ouyang Nongyue graduated from University of Science and Technology of China with a major in telemetry and remote control. As a senior economist and an industrial leader, Mr. Ouyang has long held leadership positions in the fields of high-tech and Internet media.

Mr. Ouyang has served many roles during his career, including secretary of Guangzhou Institute of Electronics, deputy director of High-tech department of Guangdong Science and Technology Commission, deputy secretary of Jianghai district committee of Jiangmen City, director of Jiangmen Science and Technology Committee, deputy director and deputy editor-in-chief of Nanfang Media Group Management Committee, president of Southcn.com and deputy secretary & secretary of the disciplinary committee of Nanfang Media Group.
