BYD Global Developers Conference was successfully held in Shenzhen on September 5, 2018. Ansel Qi, CEO of YUTU attended the conference and met with Mr. Wang Chuanfu, chairman of BYD. The two exchanged views on the application of blockchain technology in the connected-car industry.

Ansel said on the Automobile Smart Application Forum from the conference that only by focusing more on the CarLive Chain ecosystem can we promote a wider flow of automobile big data. At the same time, connected-car data can only be safe when blockchain technology is applied and only by then, will car manufactures have more confidence to open their data to the public. YUTU has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with BYD earlier and was invited to BYD’s Di-Link program to partner with Baidu, Tencent and 360.
