Bitcoin Dealer. Chamber of Digital Commerce and DCC to Foster Bitcoin Education.

The Chamber of Digital Commerce (Chamber) will be working with the Digital Currency Council (DCC) in order to strengthen their advocacy of promoting bitcoin education. With this initiative, the groups can provide education and training opportunities to Chamber members as part of their membership benefits.

The Chamber of Digital Commerce is the Washington, DC-based trade association representing the digital asset and digital currency industry. The Digital Currency Council is the leading education center for professionals in the digital currency economy and provides certificate-level courses.

Need for Bitcoin Education

Although the bitcoin industry is enjoying strong growth, there remains a need to educate the general public regarding the cryptocurrency and how it can be used for day-to-day activities. There is still a bit of friction when it comes to convincing more people to try using bitcoin for transactions, with a recent UK study indicating that the cryptocurrency is popular only among tech enthusiasts or criminals.

Through bitcoin education, advocacy, and working closely with policymakers, regulatory agencies, and industry, the Chamber’s goal is to develop a pro-growth legal environment that fosters innovation, jobs and investment.

“We are pleased to enter this strategic partnership with the DCC, the leader in digital currency education and training. The DCC adds an additional level of professionalism, and credibility to our members and our work the with the regulatory and policy community,” remarked Perianne Boring, Founder and President of the Chamber of Digital Commerce.

“We are proud to welcome the members of the Chamber of Digital Commerce into the DCC’s professional membership. Through their membership in the Chamber, these leading firms and individuals have shown a strong commitment to the growth and professionalization of the digital asset industry. We aim to support this commitment with access to our coursework, certification program, and membership of over 1500 professionals across the globe,” added David Berger, CEO of the Digital Currency Council.
